StredTech Cloud Hosting has an easy to use tool for creating your Free SSL certificates.
We use the Let’s Encrypt Platform, which is fast becoming an industry standard for basic SSL protection – they recently issued their Billionth certificate!
How To: Enable SSL
If you are using our Cloud Hosting Platform you will be able to tell if you need a SSL certificate by the red X padlock in your Domains listing.
In order to add the SSL certificate you will need to follow the below steps.
- Sign into your StredTech Control Panel
- On the Left Hand Menu, under “Actions” click “Login to cPanel”
- A new window will appear, Scroll down to the “Security” Section and click “Lets Encrypt SSL”
- Scroll down to the “Issue a New Certificate” Section
- You should see the domain that had the red padlock listed.
- Press “Issue” on the right hand side of the domain.
- On the page that appears, press the Orange “Issue” button, you do not need to change any settings.
- After a few seconds, a Success message will show and your Domain name now has a valid SSL certificate applied!
